Del Mar council approves reduced speed limits along Jimmy Durante, Camino Del Mar

The Del Mar City Council voted unanimously Oct. 6 to introduce an ordinance to reduce speed limits at eight different segments throughout the city.
Four of the segments are on Camino Del Mar: from Via de la Valle to the Dog Beach crosswalk, from the Dog Beach crosswalk to the San Dieguito Bridge, from Coast Boulevard to Jimmy Durante Boulevard, and from Jimmy Durante Boulevard to Del Mar Plaza. Each segment is being reduced from 40 mph to 30 mph.
