Shortly before midnight June 7, about 100 teenagers and young adults gathered near Cosby and Greenwood avenues in Cambridge, blocking traffic, shouting and refusing to disperse.
The Cambridge Police Department requested assistance from Maryland State Police and the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office. The crowd dispersed within about 45 minutes, and no arrests or injuries were reported. Police called the gathering a “teen takeover.”
