The Bird Rock-based BirdStock music festival continued its upward trajectory this year with record profits and what organizers say is the largest crowd size to date.
The 2026 event took place on Sept. 19, on the 5500-5700 blocks of La Jolla Boulevard. BirdStock, held in partnership with the Bird Rock Community Council, featured live music from local performers, shopping and an array of other activities, including a pet adoption zone, pet costume contest, mini-golf and face painting.
