On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in Mérida, Yucatán, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) continued its 2026 recruitment process for Community Police officers in various municipalities across the state.
As part of these efforts, the event held in Umán drew 64 aspiring officers—both men and women—who took part in physical tests to assess their fitness and suitability for entry.
The exercises tested endurance, coordination, and discipline under the supervision of police instructors.
