Earlier this year, I wrote an opinion piece for The Daily Signal after Heritage Action issued support for the Stop Insider Trading Act as the bill gained steam on Capitol Hill.
The piece focused largely on questions I was constantly getting from conservative allies and Hill staff.
This was already solved under Obama, right? What was Congress considering legislatively to fix the problem? And why would this fix be more effective than what is in place now?
Those questions are now moot.
