A Sharia Court in Hausawa, Kano, has remanded a man, Ahmad Sabiu Shekar Gabas, over alleged conspiracy, vandalism and theft of streetlights in Sallare community.
The court, presided over by Dr Bello Musa Khalid, ordered that the suspect be remanded in a correctional facility until October 14, 2026, for sentencing.
The police charged Sabiu alongside Mustapha Isola, who is currently at large, over the alleged offences.
