A commercial bus driver nearly landed in jail after accepting a bottle of energy drink as a waybill package in Lagos for delivery to Ondo State, only for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to discover that it contained illicit drugs.
NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said the bottle was used to conceal Colos and methamphetamine.
The driver, who was unaware of the contents, spent some time in custody before operatives traced and arrested the person
