The Thai Airways Executive Board took the extraordinary step to dismiss the airline’s CEO this afternoon after the carrier’s received a firestorm of criticism following the operations debacle at BKK Airport this week.

After the floods, THAI had to reduce operations (cancel/delay flights) after a manpower shortage saw 10,000+ bags of TG passengers piled up at Suvarnabhumi, which still aren’t all cleared and reconciled with their owners.
