U.S. engineering firm KBR is actively broadening its operations in Libya by pursuing new initiatives in clean energy. According to a report published by Middle East Business Inteligence, "US-based KBR is exploring opportunities to expand its activities in Libya into the renewable energy sector, holding talks this month with the Chairman of the Renewable Energy Authority on potential contracts".
