A long time ago a little indie game came along and took over the internet for what should have been a couple months, but turned out to be almost a couple of decades instead. Minecraft has kept on growing since its 2009 release, only just recently clearing lifetime sales of a truly ridiculous 425 million. It's had a truly terrible but popular movie, there's a theme park under construction complete with an original roller coaster, merchandise is still sold everywhere, and in general the franchise
