Alaska Airlines has also updated today when Atmos Rewards members can choose how they earn miles, based on flight length, ticket price, or segments flown.
Alaska Airlines promised LAST YEAR that this would happen in 2026, but as is often the case with everything Alaska-related, it has now been pushed to January 1, 2027.

Alaska’s Atmos Rewards members can choose one of the following three earnings options:
Distance: Earn one point for each mile flown
