Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) and PepsiCo (NASDAQ:PEP) both reported second-quarter 2026 results, and the market has already picked a side. Coke shares are up 26.76% year to date, while PepsiCo is at -8.20%. Over five years, the gap grows: 90.01% for Coke against -1.31% for Pepsi. My take is Coke carries the higher ceiling. Pepsi carries the higher floor.
