Reel-blocking app explodes in popularity, with more than 1 million downloads

An app created by two Fairview High School graduates that blocks reels and short videos on social media has exploded since its launch, with more than 1 million downloads since March.
SocialLite is an app that removes reels and short videos from feeds on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Users can still post, see videos and photos from followed accounts, and view and respond to direct messages.
