Tom Holland returned as Peter Parker earlier this year in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, marking his fourth outing as the superhero. With the world having forgotten his true identity, Peter worked as a solo superhero while slowly rebuilding his bonds with Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) and Michelle Jones-Watson (Zendaya). He encountered a new villain in Jean Grey (Sadie Sink), the first of many X-Men characters who are going to be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
