Masters of the Universe was a far better movie than it had any right to be. It leaned heavily into the campy and ridiculous over the top nature of the original show, but brought it to a modern audience that grew up (at least a little) since then. It asked the audience to just sit back and have fun. Based on the 68% from critics and an 85% from audiences, according to Rotten Tomatoes, I'm not alone in feeling that way.
