Rains revive water bodies in Ballari, Vijayanagara districts

Hosapete/ Ballari: Incessant rain continued from Tuesday night to Wednesday in many parts of the district, including Hosapete, Kottur, Kudligi and Hagaribommanahalli taluks. However, there is no inflow to the Tungabhadra reservoir as the Malnad region is not receiving rainfall. Currently, the water level in the reservoir stands at 77.41 tmc ft.Hagaribommanahalli taluk has continued to receive rain for the past two days, and the average rain (in the past two days) has been recorded at 3.90 cm.
