Bengaluru: The software charge recently introduced for online property-tax transactions is only one component of a wider fee structure being implemented by all five city corporations, with citizens now required to pay for a range of civic services, including e-Khata, B-Khata to A-Khata conversion, new Khata and layout Khata.The charges have been introduced as software fees for digital services, with the revenue earmarked for maintaining and upgrading the technology used by the Greater Bengaluru
