A judge in Quesnel sentenced a man to 12 months jail and two years probation on Sept. 17 for touching for a sexual purpose and invitation to touching for a sexual purpose.
Colton Silas Stump, however, received 364 days credit for time served, resulting in one day custodial sentence, served by his court appearance.
Judge Michelle Stanford found Stump guilty in September 2023 of the crimes committed between July 1 and Aug. 31, 2019. He was acquitted of a second touching for a sexual purpose charge
