Fire quickly doused at Kelowna laundromat

Quick action by the Kelowna Fire Department (KFD) limited damage to a local laundromat on Sunday, Sept. 20.
At around 9 p.m., KFD responded to reports of a structure fire in a commercial building on Pandosy Street.
According to KFD Assistant Fire Chief Jason Bedell, the minor fire involved combustible materials within the building.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading.
Damage was limited and no injuries were reported, Bedell added.
