Obi: Ortom condemns blockade, says Alia is responsible

Former Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has condemned the blockade of the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi, from visiting Yelwata community in Guma Local Government Area of the state, accusing Governor Hyacinth Alia of disrespecting the rule of law.
Ortom said the incident was a reflection of the situation in Benue, noting that it was unfortunate that a clergyman who should be telling the truth was telling lies.
