Bucharest’s grand Palace of the Parliament, commissioned by dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu, looms large as a testament to an ambitious and controversial regime. Notably, it is the heaviest administrative building worldwide, although much of it remains unoccupied. The colossal structure's fate is precarious as it continues to sink slightly each year.
