Belagavi: A dry spell lasting nearly a fortnight has begun affecting water inflow into rivers across Belagavi district. The Malaprabha has recorded no inflow due to the lack of rainfall in its catchment areas in the Western Ghats region of Khanapur taluk, while inflow into the Ghataprabha has been declining for over a week.
