Egypt’s newly introduced facilities for real estate taxpayers have gained significant traction, with taxpayers creating more than 612,000 electronic accounts and filing 490,000 tax declarations through a dedicated mobile application during its first two months, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk said.
The submitted declarations covered more than 830,000 property units, including 636,000 residential units and 188,000 non-residential properties, in addition to more than 6,000 other establishments.
