Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney wants to go ahead with a controversial plan to cap prices on basic supermarket items, despite a heavy backlash from businesses and farmers.
A consultation was launched today alongside a draft bill as part of John Swinney’s programme for government, the twentieth since the SNP came to power in 2007.
