Todd Jones started the Oxnard band Nails way back in 2007, after his legendary tenures in both Carry On and Terror, and they quickly became one of the most brutal, extreme bands on the entire hardcore landscape. Nails pull in ugly, guttural influence from realms like death metal and grindcore, but they remain fully rooted in hardcore, and that really comes through on their two new songs.
