You're buying a license, not the product.As a number of lawsuits try to take Sony to court over its decision to stop making PlayStation discs from January 2028, the platform holder has responded to one and said "reasonable consumers" understand they're only buying a license to play a game, and that they don't actually own it.This stems from a court appearance in California, where four people took Sony to court over claims the PS Store does not make it clear you're purchasing video game licenses
