This 1969 Yamaha TR2 is one of approximately 400 examples of the factory production racer that were intended for use by privateer teams in 350cc Grand Prix competition. It was purchased out of Italy by the seller in 2023 and imported to the US where subsequent work included a top-end inspection and the installation of an HPI (Horse Power Ignition) electronic ignition system by two-stroke expert Jeff Henise of San Francisco.
