Roxanna Scott is out as ESPN’s top editor after fewer than 10 months on the job, sources told Front Office Sports. Scott was named SVP, editor-in-chief last December. Her role was eliminated this week in a reorganization of the network’s news division and there will be a new editorial structure that ESPN brass feels will better support its newsgathering needs, a source said. Scott’s exit is not being characterized as being part of a new round of layoffs.An ESPN spokesperson declined to comment.
