Herbicides pose dilemma for forest managers

In the last two years herbicide usage has become ubiquitous throughout fire-scarred Plumas and Lassen counties. It is part of a strategy for the U.S. Forest Service to protect the 285,000 acres of the Plumas National Forest that have not burned in recent fires.
