After the tragic deaths of Dolly Parton and Tim Curry this week, the sad news broke that legendary voice actor Peter Cullen passed away on Aug. 26, 2026, at age 85. Cullen was an accomplished voice actor who brought various iconic characters to life, including Eeyore in several entries of the Winnie the Pooh franchise. Most recently, he voiced Thaddeus in Invincible. Yet the part he will forever be associated with is Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots in the Transformers franchise.
