One of the best science fiction shows on Disney+ was originally supposed to run for five seasons and, paradoxically, it's much better that it only lasted two seasons. Some of the best shows on Disney+ are sci-fi series, and the streaming service has a wide variety to choose from. Between long-running shows like The X-Files, short-lived cult classics like Firefly, and newer shows that are just getting started like Alien: Earth, Disney+ has sci-fi offerings of every length.
