The worst thing I ever did took about four weeks, and I did it in a good mood.
Early 2020. I stood in front of my staff and told them we’d be fine. I had seen the numbers. I knew we would not be fine. I said it anyway, because saying it out loud made me feel better, and because it bought me time to arrange an exit that didn’t make me look like I’d lost.
