New Delhi: The Supreme Court has directed all states to constitute dedicated Special Investigation Teams (SITs) to probe complaints of insurance fraud, citing a pan-India pattern of the same vehicles being repeatedly shown in multiple accident claims.A bench of Justices Ahsanuddin Amanullah and Prasanna B Varale said insurance companies must forward every claim indicating possible fraud to the SIT without any pick-and-choose approach. The top management of insurers will be held accountable
