In 1969, advertising agency Wells Rich Greene produced a print ad for American Motors Corporation featuring the Javelin. Pictured were two Javelins, one stock and the other modified with a blower and other hot bits. “Some people like it for what it is. Some like it for what it can be,” read the headline.
