Officers investigating the events that led to Saturday’s fatal crash on the A66 near Middlesbrough have arrested five more people and charged two others.
Two police officers and five people in a Volkswagen Passat were killed in the collision.
Cleveland Police say the five men in the Passat may have had links to “serious and organised criminal activity”.
