A controversial film banned in several countries that is often hailed as the most disturbing of all time is getting a rare UK release.
Directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini, Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom, adapted from the Marquis de Sade’s novel The 120 Days of Sodom, follows a group of libertines in fascist Italy who capture a group of teenagers and torture them.
It was Pasolini’s final film, released in 1975,
