Prime Minister Andy Burnham has announced another £65 million to help farmers get through the extreme drought, saying they shouldn’t be left to cope with the impact of the climate crisis on their own.
Firefighters are still tackling a number of ongoing wildfires in the West Midlands, while in Wales, soldiers and an army helicopter have been deployed to support fire crews.
