An evacuation order has been issued by the City of Revelstoke for five properties near the rural community of Beaton, along the Incomappleux Forest Service Road (FSR) and Fish River Road, due to the growing Johnson Creek wildfire.
The city issued the order at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, on behalf of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District’s Area B, and on the advice of BC Wildfire Service (BCWS).
