A federal judge has denied the Tohono O’odham Nation’s request to temporarily halt construction of a border wall on its reservation, prompting Nation leaders to consider their next legal options in a case centered on tribal sovereignty, sacred sites and the federal government’s authority to build border infrastructure on Indian Country.
