We live in a culture that devours true crime documentaries with a hunger that never goes away — but if you ask me, we're doing it all wrong.In fact, I'd go as far as to say that we consume true crime irresponsibly. In part thanks to how streaming services such as Netflix have chosen to produce them, we often see the unearthed trauma of strangers as entertainment rather than education.
