Non-bank financing for MSMEs surpasses EGP 100bn in May 2026: FRA

The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) revealed that the outstanding balance of financing provided by companies and associations operating in the financing of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Egyptian market reached EGP 100.043bn in May 2026, compared to EGP 86.349bn in May 2025, marking an increase of EGP 13.694bn.
Financing extended by companies and associations to microenterprises reached EGP 74.125bn, compared to EGP 66.280bn, while the number of beneficiaries stood at 3
