The Republic of Singapore has expressed its first interest in joining a 6th Generation fighter programme only a week after Canada joined GCAP as an observer.
As reported by Janes on Tuesday, Singapore has begun early discussions on possible involvement in GCAP, with reports suggesting that the talks are currently only “exploratory” and not indicative of any future orders or involvement in the programme.
