In a tragic incident, a six-year-old boy drowned in a 15-foot-deep pit in Kaladhan Colony area of Greater Noida. Accoring to a NDTV report, the pit was dug for boring work by the Greater Noida Authority. The boy identified as Avyaan Surya, fell into the pit which was filled with rainwater. The residents alleged that there were no barricades of warning sign around the pit. The incident happened when the boy was playing with other kids and fell into the open pit. The people around rescued the boy
