Several vehicles caught fire in an apartment parkade in downtown Kelowna on Saturday morning.
The Kelowna Fire Department (KFD) says that at approximately 4:30 a.m., the dispatch centre received a 911 call reporting black smoke coming from the bottom floor of an apartment in the 1400 block of Bertram Street.
Upon arrival, the severity was raised to a second alarm, and firefighters extinguished several vehicle fires in the parkade and prevented the flames from spreading into the rest of the apa
