Some Fort Simpson wildfire evacuees are suffering from severe situational trauma, according to wellness camp counsellors in Yellowknife.
One approach to attempt to get them grounded again is by bringing them to the wellness camp — in a nature-like setting behind the Fieldhouse — and engaging them in traditional and cultural practices.
