A software issue affects every new Tucson, regardless of powertrain.



The recall covers 53,886 examples of the Tucson Hybrid alone.



Some owners can resolve the issue through an OTA software update.






Back in the days of analog gauges, faults were generally quite uncommon. The same cannot be said about the digital gauge clusters, which have proliferated in the automotive industry. Case in point, a wide-ranging recall issued for 96,310 Hyundai Tucsons in the United States.
