This 1973 DeTomaso Pantera was first delivered to Clairidge Lincoln-Mercury of Montclair in New Jersey prior to being acquired in 1978 by Jack Richards, the late owner of Pantera parts manufacturer JRM Inc. The car was disassembled by Richards and underwent a multi-year build that involved modifications to the suspension, braking, fueling, cooling, and electrical systems as well as the installation of a GT40-style carbon-fiber dashboard and Euro-style bumpers.
