Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – A new chapter is unfolding for PNG cricket as 22-year-old Ryan Ani steps onto the international stage, earning his debut with the PNG Barramandis at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific (EAP) Qualifier in Japan on 8-18 May this year.
Ani comes from Central Province’s Rigo Coastal area, with roots in Hula and Babaka. Ani’s journey into elite cricket has been shaped by early exposure in the Port Moresby Cricket Association (POMCA) and the Raukele Cricket C
