The US Army has named its Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft the MV-75 Cheyenne II, honoring the Native American Cheyenne tribes, as Military.com announced. The name also hearkens back to the legacy of the 1960s Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne, which was revolutionary but was canceled in 1972 due to various issues.
