Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Iraq has welcomed the return of oil deliveries to Egypt, which might revive a channel of energy cooperation between the two countries that has been stopped since the end of 2023, as Cairo seeks to secure steady crude oil supplies.
Director of Iraq’s State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), Ali Nizar al-Shatri, told Attaqa News that there is no arrangement currently with Egypt to acquire crude oil.
